How to bid ?
Our mode of sale is that of the auction. We are not merchants and thus we do not have a store.
Here are the answers that we can bring to the questions that most often arise to customers who wish to bid.
There are, in fact, several ways of bidding:
Bidding in person in the room
The most traditional of all bidding methods is still to physically move and bid directly in the room.
We will welcome you with pleasure!
This approach will allow you to live the moment of the sale and to be able to pay and recover your objects on the spot.
To make a fixed written bid
It is possible for you to send us, before the sale, a purchase order on one or several pieces with the limit amounts you wish to bid for the different lots. We will then bid on your behalf within the limit of the amount you have given us.
To do so, please send us your purchase order duly filled in and signed by you. It must be accompanied by a copy of your identity card and a bank receipt.
It is recommended in this case that you scan this document and send it to us by email. Please ask for a confirmation of its reception.
Militaria Auctions is in no way responsible for the non-receipt of your purchase order.
The registration of the purchase orders is closed two hours before the beginning of the sale.
Bidding by phone
In order for us to call you on the phone to take your bids (on one or several lots) please send us your purchase order. It must be duly filled in and signed by you. It must be accompanied by a copy of your identity card and a bank receipt.
Do not forget to indicate the number(s) where you can be reached during the sale. Militaria Auctions is not responsible for a breakdown in telephone communication or for not being able to reach you.
Please note that any person requesting to be called on one or more lots is deemed to be the purchaser of the item at its catalog estimate price.
Bidding via our Live platform
This new technique has revolutionized the auction world.
Simple and efficient, it allows you to bid “live”, i.e. in real time, from your home.
In order to take advantage of this service, we invite you to register with our partners in order to participate in the live auction.
Please note that taking part in one of our live auctions will incur additional costs. Indeed, the Live Auctions partner platform will take a commission that we will charge on your purchase invoice.
Militaria Auctions is not responsible for any break in live auctions during the sale. It is the sole judge of whether the auction should continue or be postponed.
